tune!! Young Punx & Mohito remix.” 9/10
Huggy – (Beat 106) – “I've had this for
a couple of months and giving it a few radio plays already
!!! Strong package and the advert helps.” 7/10

the bollox!!! Really wicked track, and rocking my funky sets!”
9/10
Roman Salzger/DJ Falcon: "Yeah i like the track a lot"
(Muttonheads remix)
Nick Barnes – (Cut Up Boys/Radio 1) – “I
like this, and may use it in one of the Jules mixes. The mix
that’s doing it for me is the Retro mix.”
Jim Ryan – (Miss Moneypennys) – “A track
that will get more back room play.” 7/10
Chris Turner – (Godskitchen) – “This is
wicked!!! Yeah we’re loving it. The Young Punx mix is
the one I’m caning, Mohito is ok but the YP mix rips
it up. Love it!” 9/10
Marc Leaf – (Kiss Da Funk) – “Had it for
a while on a white pal so these extra mixes are welcome. for
me, its the muttonheads mix that does it.” 7/10
Carlos Garcia – (Theorize) – “One of my
favourite remixers. These boys never seem to let me down.
Another good house offering.” 8/10
Rich B – (Gaydar Radio) – “Like this a lot
- it is an epic production with takes a bit of listening,
but it works very well.”
Stevie Maher – (Heaven & Hell) – “This
is quality tunage and house music at its finest with a vocal
to die for!!! Will be around for a long time to come and will
definitely gain anthem status. Mutton Heads do a dam good
job as does Young Punx.” 10/10
Andi Durrant – (Galaxy Radio) – “Not a massive
track for me, but pretty good all the same. Will see if I
can fit it in one of the shows this weekend.”
Michael Paterson – (Colours/23rd Precinct) – Been
hammering this for a few weeks now… good reaction. Mothito.”
8/10
Porl Young – (Heaven) – “I'm loving this,
this is right up my alley! All the house mixes are great but
the one that does it for me the most is the young punx mix,
love the filthy bassline loads. The mohito mix is fab too
for the summery vibe. Great vocal stormer.” 9/10
Nick Hook – (Loosen Up) – “A great track.
Very strong collection of mixes. Love the Young Punx remix.
Numer 1 in my chart.” 9/10

of good mixes on this cd. The breaks mixes rock as well. The
Young Punx mix works my floors a treat. This is getting my
support.” 8/10
Lewis Dene – (DMC Update) – “Not bad pop
crossover material. Mohito mix” 7/10
Danny Allsop - (Jack & Daniels) – “Yes received
this and some great mixes but for me the Young Punx mix is
the one that works for me........a few tracks out at the mo
from adverts like this and California sun and think they will
all do very well with great cross over potential...”
Dj Slamma – (Candy Bars) – “Retro mix.”
9/10

but really liking the Mohito.” 9/10
Gary Blandford – (The Loft) – “Nice house
mix of this electro tune! Muttonheads” 8/10
Derek King – (Fuel) – “A hell of a transformation
from Mohito. I would say the breaks mixes are going to be
more successful than the house mixes.” 8/10
Jeremy B – (Unknown FM) – “God I’m
so feeling this mix. Play it so much, gonna need a new cd
soon! Mohito.” 10/10
Richard Wilkes – (Rix Records/Siberia) – “Superb!”

Punx.” 8/10
Scott Park – (Massa) – “I love it! Looks
like the punters recognise the ‘Vocals’. Superb!”
8/10
Danny Dove – (Turnmills) – “Muttonheads
mix” 9/10
Paul Hughes – (Energy FM) – “This is so
infectious. What a mix package to play with as well.Early
reactions say The Young Punx mix is out on top, but i am messing
around with the various both club and radio. As always my
110% support.”
Mark Gowdie – (G’s/Pivo) – “I love
the house mixes but I HAD to play the retro mix coz of the
advert. Well received indeed, first class sexy bassline and
vocals. Sounds slightly 60’s! I will push the Young
Punx’s mix also. Its rocking!” 7/10
Graham Clark – (Maximum FM) – “Mohito remix
is like a breath of fresh air, this is dreamy house. It’s
the mix for me. It reminds me of Joey Negro. Result!!”

REVIEWS IN THE PRESS
Carl Loben in DJ mag
4.5 stars
"Allegedly featuring in a car ad (Toyota verso if
you must know), this ESG
track from about a quarter of a century ago has been superbly
updated for
today's floors by boot king Medcab and men-of-the-moment Move
Ya! & Steve
Lavers. Again using plenty of vocal from the all-black, all-girl
punk-funk
pioneers, Medcab hones in on the twangy bass guitar fro some
tasty
Chic-esque disco breakbeat funk. MY &SL, meanwhile, turn
in another breezy
electro-breaks party stormer. These guys sure know how to
funk it to us."

DANCE
[HEAVY DISCO]
Since the Scroggins sisters first bust out of the South
Bronx in the early
80s with their intoxicating brew of urban funk, they've been
sampled to
death - often without financial reward. Finally, ESG look
like hitting
paydirt as 'Dance' from '82 springs out of the Toyota 'Verso'
ads. Here the
tune is faithfully covered by Young Punx' Hal Ritson and Nathan
Taylor with
new vocals by TiffanyGore. ESG worked so well and surprised
clubland because
they worked their sexy magic with only bass, percussion and
sultry
vocals. Therefore it's the original and Retromixes which work
best here as
they focus on that brilliant vocal melody. There are also
house and electro
treatments by Muttonheads,Young Punx, Mohito and MoveYa! &
Steve Lavers
[excellent].Ultimately, what a song! 5 dancin' men.
Music Week tastemaker tipster
"Originally written and produced
in 1982 by Black all girl New York Electro act ESG, "Dance"
has been featured recently in a Toyota ad-campaign...now
remixed and replayed in a more than respectful way for
a 2005 audience the likes of Mohito French producers Muttonheads,
Move Ya! & Steve Lavers and the ever so cheeky Young
Punx lend their talents to make a funk fuelled Breakbeat
stew that is the sound that is waking up dancefloors across
the country, following in the footsteps of The Freestylers
recent hit `Push Up`and with the help of the advert and the
history and funk of the original and choice of remixers
this track should go far and is definitely one to watch..."
